Absolutely not. You don’t have to break a sweat or lace up hiking boots to get world-class Rocky Mountain backdrops. Our pristine sites and dramatic mountain overlooks feature dedicated, drive-up vehicle access and private parking right at the site. Your guests can step out of the car directly into the action and your photographer can capture limitless, to-die-for backdrops—from aspen groves to towering boulder fields—all within 2-3 minute walks. You get that rugged adventure aesthetic with absolute luxury convenience!

Yes of course. Most do because they make more of a Mountain top vacation out of their wedding. You may add nights to your package under the FAMILY ELOPEMENT PACKAGE at $1750/night with Tuesday and Wednesday nights at $1400/night.  Under the COUPLES' ONLY Elopement, it's $500/night weekday and $750/night weekend.  Weekends are only available January thru March for the Couples Only Package.

Absolutely! By keeping things intimate, you won't need a massive team of coordinators. Our package is perfectly optimized for a simple, high-end day. We permit up to 3 of your favored professional vendors (photographer, officiant, and hair/makeup artist) to easily access the property and bring your specific vision to life without the logistical headache.  If you need recommendations on vendors, we'd be happy to send you a vetted list right after you book, or alternately send you a form to book these vendors within minutes.  No muss, no fuss!

Yes, this is a private residential estate, not a public resort, nor a commercial venue.  The main parcel where the lodge is, is 56 acres. The wedding garden with mountain views is immediately behind it.  To put the size of the entirety of our 120 Ranch into perspective: we do have a secondary 5-acre ceremony site located a mile away and separately addressed. Because of this distance and mountain topography, there is zero visibility. You'll enjoy total, uninterrupted seclusion which is extremely rare in the wedding venue space.   We like to say, you'll feel like a Rock Star as typically mountain estates like these are out of reach for most. You have 100% exclusive access and your ceremony, photos, and celebration will be entirely intimate, with no strangers in the background.

This truly makes your day stress-free.  It gives you the absolute best of both worlds—fine-dining quality with total backyard feel or comfort inside the Lodge's intimate great room. One of the most memorable parts of the weekend will be the private 4-course reception dinner for up to 12 guests, prepared on-site and enjoyed in the beauty of Blue Sky Mountain Ranch. Whether you dine indoors with panoramic views or gather outside under the mountain sky, your table is fully set with linens, china, glassware, and silver—creating an intimate, refined experience that feels effortless.  For a group of 12, traditional wedding catering is often a logistical and financial headache. You end up paying massive overhead for a full kitchen crew, only to get "mass-produced" buffet food or plated dishes that sit in warming trays. On the flip side, booking a reservation at a public restaurant in town means dealing with noisy dining rooms, rigid reservation time slots, and stressful mountain driving at night. With our private chef, those drawbacks disappear. A dedicated culinary professional prepares a 4-course meal completely from scratch right inside your private lodge. There are no rush-orders, no shouting over strangers, and no paying for an army of catering staff. You and your guests can toast, laugh, and dine at your own pace, completely in your own private world. Within 6 months of your date, your seasonal menu is available via email from which to choose.  There are 4-5 choices each for your app, soup or salad, entree and dessert.  There are additional choices for dietary needs like gluten free, allergies or vegetarian options. Water and coffee are available, but you'd bring in your own alcohol and any other drink preferences. Chef cleans kitchen and dishware before departing.

The ranch serves as your own private mountain retreat. Your inner circle can enjoy private hiking trails, view the wildlife, soak in the hot tub under the stars, gather around the fire pit or do one of the many activities available. It turns your elopement into an unforgettable, intentional weekend getaway with the people who matter most.

The Lodge sleeps up to 12 guests across six bedrooms. The Master Wing, our Romantic Cabin is a two-story suite with a private indoor hot tub, en-suite bath, full-length mirror, and stunning mountain views, not a separate building.  The main level of the lodge has 1 queen bedroom and up a sprial staircase to the loft is another queen. 4pm and 10am.  However, you may book an early check-in at 12noon and a late check-out at 12noon if you wish for $150 each if looking for extra time if it's available on our calendar.

Dogs only.  $250 pet fee covers up to (3).  Pets are not permitted on furniture and must be leashed when outside of the 1 acre fenced-in area behind the lodge.  They can be off leash in that area and during the ceremony which is in the same area.
